Study abroad advisor Giselda Beaudin, peer advisors and interns from the Office of International Programs on campus will talk to students about Binghamton study abroad, exchange and SUNY programs. Students will have the chance to know program costs, how they can finance study abroad and what course equivalencies are offered in Binghamton’s programs. Students can fulfill major/minor and even GenEd requirements abroad and so information of how credits are transferred will be explained. More importantly, residents can speak to other students that went on these programs and can tell them about their experiences and so can give advice. This is the chance for students to learn about studying in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Latin America.

Any resident of Hinman is eligible to submit a 30-60 second video describing their Hinman spirit by Thursday, November 19. On Saturday, November 21, we will be viewing the submitted videos and enjoying an international feast. Residents are welcome to bring friends and food that represents their own heritage or culture. The videos will be judged and the top 3 will receive fabulous prizes. Come on down for a good time whether you submitted a video or not.
