HINMAN COLLEGE COUNCIL
At Binghamton University, each Residential Life area on campus has its own student run area government system. In Hinman, all student are lucky enough to be supported by our Hinman College Council or HCC. HCC is an active student government that is easy to and fun to participate in.
At HCC, our goal is to advocate and be the voice for all Hinman residents. Hinman College Council sponsors many activities and events that any resident can attend. From Dorm Wars to our spring Semi-Formal, we are here to make sure that you are getting all you can out of your residential experience.

Every fall there is also five executive boards elected, one to represent each residence hall in Hinman. On these e-boards, there are can be up to two Presidents, two Social VP's, two Academic VP's, a Financial VP and two Public Affairs VP's. In addition to the elected positions, anyone in Hinman has the opportunity to become involved in the council by being a Hinman College Representative. These positions are key because as a representative, you are the voice of your fellow community members. These individual hall elections take place during the first couple of weeks in the fall semester. Anyone who's interested should stop by at any hall government meeting or speak with a current hall government or staff member.
