Welcome to Hinman!

Hinman College is a spirited residential area, with an emphasis on community, tradition, and its residents' active involvement in the social and academic life of the college. Hinman College is proud to have an area wide focus on Community Service and Leadership.  It also has its own Discovery Center, study center and computer pod, as well as tennis courts, beach volleyball, basketball courts, student managed weight room, and dining hall. Hinman has a long tradition of strong student government, and is located beside the campus Nature Preserve across from the Lecture Halls.

Regular Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Winter and Summer Break Hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm

Hinman Library and Discovery Center

Sunday:   5pm to Midnight
Monday - Thursday: 9am to Midnight
Friday:   9am to 5pm
