Beds are extra long twin size. Sheets for these beds are normally available at J.C. Penney or Sears. There is a 6 inch clearance under the bed for storage.

A typical room and suite in Hinman College are furnished as follows: Double room: 2 beds, 2 desks, 2 desk chairs, 2 built-in closets, 2 dressers, phone, mirror, 2 floor lamps, 2 towel racks, and Venetian blinds.
Suite lounge: each suite lounge has upholstered furniture, table, table lamp and blinds.
Rooms are equipped with a single land-line telephone with unlimited local and long-distance calling within the continental United States that's already built into your room fee.
One Ethernet port per student is available in each residence hall room. All residence halls are now fully equipped for wi-fi connections.
There is also a Fax Service available to students in the Telecommunications Office. Fax #607-777-4000. There is a nominal charge for this service.
Refrigerators are available for rent from Microfridge. Visit their website here, or call 1-800-525-7307. You do not need to know the student's room number to order a fridge, the University will supply the appropriate information to the vendor.

Please do not write your hall name or room number when addressing mail. Mailboxes are located in the Hinman Commons. This will only delay delivery by several days. Please note that you may be sharing your mailbox with another student, so do not be alarmed if you find another person’s mail. Packages: A notification e-mail will be sent to your campus e-mail account if you receive a package. Please bring your University ID card to the Main Post Office on campus to pick up your package.
