The University provides blinds for windows, but many students bring curtains to add a touch of color to the room. Curtains should measure at least the size of the window.

University Auxiliary Services contracts with an outside vendor that sells carpets this size and delivers them to student's room before opening day. The carpet company will have a list of room assignments so you will not need to provide them with this information.
The beds are designed to fit twin XL sheets. Twin XL sheets can be purchased from bedding stores and department stores such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, Linens N' Things, etc. Each mattress is 78 inches long and 34 inches wide.
The bed is 9 inches above the floor, with an area of 61 by 32 inches available for storage.
Each closet is 66 inches tall, 53 inches wide, and 23 inches deep. Closets include a bar to hang clothes and 2 additional shelves, 10 inches high each.
Each room contains one bed, one desk with hutch, one dresser, one chair and a small lamp or floor lamp per occupant. The University is occasionally over-occupied at the beginning of the semester requiring that freshmen be temporarily tripled. When this occurs, the third desk and chair are available on request.
Rooms are equipped with a single land-line telephone with unlimited local and long-distance calling within the continental United States that's already built into your room fee.Refrigerators are available for rent from Microfridge. Visit their website here, or call 1-800-525-7307. You do not need to know the student's room number to order a fridge, the University will supply the appropriate information to the vendor.
Small mail and letters are delivered to your campus box, larger packages need to be picked up in then University Union post office.
